I have been saving bits and bobs for about 2 years now, but I have never gotten round to making it. Until now.I started by getting essential items like some pink tissue paper and some chocolate fingers :)
I used some old paper from my G.C.S.E. art which is just torn out of an art book and the pink tissue paper was either from a shop that wraps up items, or from a birthday present. The chocolate fingers are from Iceland ;)
I then stuck the tissue on the A3 paper using some cheapo glue. I didn't flatten or straighten the tissue paper out because I think the crumples add to the effect and make it more interesting.
I saved the packaging from a Magnum Tempations ice cream because it was a nice silver and also had a ribbed piece of paper in side too.I cut the silver paper into two strips and stuck it to the top and bottom of one of my photos. It was almost the exact same size.
Just cut into strips.
I just then stuck the strips to the back of the photo. You can see that it isn't fancy paper!
Mmmm brownies :)
I had this left from when I made a fancy dress costume. Well actually, I still have another 2m of this, but this small square was already cut out.I cut out a dress because the scrap book page is a page on my prom, so as most other scrap books have themed pages, I decided to do it too. I thought it was nice anyway.
I got this paper with a present and I thought it was nice so I saved it. I stuck it on the back of one of the photos with a bit sticking out around the edge. To be totally honest, I am not sure why I did this, I could have made better economical use of the paper, but I suppose at the time I thought I just had plenty and it would look good. Anyway I really like the paper so I took another close up of it and I might draw and paint it.
